Who we are

The Newton Business Improvement Association is made up of business and property owners working towards revitalizing the Newton Town Centre and improving business opportunity in the area.

About the BIA

The Newton Business Improvement Association (Newton BIA) is made up of a group of property and business owners who are passionate about improving the opportunities for businesses in the Newton Town Centre by taking leadership and revitalizing the area. To accomplish this, the Newton BIA would like to hear from tenants and property owners on what would make a difference for them.

The Newton BIA takes leadership within the Newton Town Centre to galvanize the area. The BIA focus is to bring business members, grassroots organizations, community stakeholders, and government together to create a vibrant and dynamic neighborhood for the residents, workers, and visitors in the area. Through collaboration with these groups, the BIA is able to create viable and effective programs for the area with focus on the four pillars of the BIA: safety, area enhancement, marketing & events, and government relations. These programs will work together to foster change within the community and neighborhood to create a successful future for the Newton Town Centre.

The benefits of a BIA include:

  • Promote safety and beautification for the area
  • Encourage residents to shop locally
  • Affordable cost shared by all Newton Town Centre businesses
  • Controlled by Newton Town Centre business and property owners
  • Low overhead with maximum marketing investment
  • One voice to advocate for our business community
