The Newton BIA & The City of Surrey invite anyone and everyone to gather and experience our co-created space in different ways – to linger and people watch, smell the flowers, meet a friend for a bite to eat, or wait for the bus. There is no cost to enter and everyone is welcome!

Part of Playful Places, Surrey’s public space animation program that supports fun, interactive, and vibrant public spaces.  Through programs, events and temporary furniture Playful Places brings spaces to life. Explore new ways to experience your city!

How it works

The Newton Pop-up Plaza is meant as a community-building space. Installations are created through partnerships with local land and business owners, arts & culture organizations, community service providers, and municipal agencies.
