We Are Newton!
You are invited to the Launch Party for the “We Are Newton!” Neighbourhood Anthology!
The Anthology contains 50 stories and poems about what it is like to live, work and play in the Newton neighbourhood. Submissions reflect a range of cultural and generational perspectives and literary styles. We are very proud of this community project, and we hope that you can join us in this celebration of community pride!
The Launch Party takes place:

Time: 5:30-8:30pm
Location: Old Surrey Restaurant, 13483 – 72 Avenue
There will be brief readings by some of the project authors and inspirational words by Renee Saklikar, Surrey’s Poet Laureate. Appies and non-alcoholic refreshments will be served.
The event is free, but space is limited. Registration is first come, first serve.
